Terms and Conditions

All written quotes are valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, Pinecrest Construction reserves the right to revise pricing due to changes in labor, materials, or scheduling availability.

Quotes reflect the full scope of work based on the information provided at the time. Any changes to layout, design, or materials must be discussed and confirmed in writing. Revisions to scope may result in adjusted pricing and/or schedule.

Each new quote issued supersedes all previous versions, including verbal discussions, text messages, sketches, and emails related to the same project.

Clients are entitled to two versions of a quote, each with one complimentary revision. Further changes beyond this limit may be subject to administrative fees. Please ensure all project details are clear during the quoting stage.

Only work explicitly listed in the approved quote will be completed. Requests for additional work must be submitted in writing and may result in added cost or changes to the project timeline.

Pinecrest Construction is not liable for delays due to:

• Adverse weather
   
• Material shortages
   
• Permit delays
   
• Site access issues
   
• Other conditions beyond our control
   

Work may be paused or rescheduled to ensure safety and quality.

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing clear and safe access to the work area during all scheduled work hours
   
• Ensuring all personal belongings, furniture, landscaping items, and other obstructions are removed or protected prior to the start of work
   
• Preparing the area by clearing debris, overgrowth, snow, or hazardous conditions that may delay or interfere with the project
   

If access is restricted or labor is significantly impacted by unexpected conditions not disclosed in advance, Pinecrest Construction reserves the right to reschedule the job or apply additional charges.

Unforeseen site issues (e.g., buried debris, poor framing, faulty wiring, water damage, or structural defects) discovered during work may require additional labor, materials, or scope changes, which will be communicated and approved before continuing.

Standard payment structure unless otherwise stated:

• 50% deposit upon acceptance of quote
   
• 25% progress payment during the project (timing agreed upon in writing)
   
• 25% final payment upon project completion
   

Accepted methods: e-Transfer, cheque, Visa, MasterCard
Late payments are subject to 2% monthly interest.

If a project is canceled after written acceptance, the following deductions apply to any deposit refund:

• 10% of total price if canceled within 24 hours
   
• 25% if canceled after 24 hours but before 72 hours of the scheduled start
   
• 50% if canceled within 72 hours of the scheduled start
   

No refunds will be issued once work begins or materials are custom ordered.

Unless otherwise stated, the client is responsible for securing any required permits. Pinecrest Construction is not liable for consequences resulting from unpermitted work at the client’s request.

Limited-time promotions (e.g. 15% off for first-time clients):

• Are limited to one per household
   
• Cannot be combined with other offers
   
• Must be applied before quote acceptance
   
• May change or end without notice

We use high-quality, locally sourced materials from trusted suppliers. Some variation in color, finish, or texture is normal and not considered a defect — especially with natural or hand-finished materials.

We are not responsible for:

• Material behavior over time (e.g., expansion, fading, or shrinkage due to environment)
   
• Color or texture mismatches due to batch variation
   
• Failures or delays related to client-supplied products, fixtures, or materials
   

We reserve the right to refuse installation of materials that are unsuitable, unsafe, or incompatible with project requirements.

Standard cleanup is included. Larger-scale debris removal and dump fees will be listed in your quote when applicable.

We may photograph completed work for use in our portfolio, website, and promotional material. We will never share personal information or identifiable location data.

We offer a 1-year limited warranty on workmanship, effective from the project’s completion date. This covers issues related to installation or construction.

Warranty does not cover:

• Client-supplied products
   
• Natural aging or wear
   
• Improper use or modifications
   
• Material defects (covered by manufacturer, if applicable)
   

By accepting any quote from Pinecrest Construction, the client agrees to all terms outlined in this document. A signed or written acceptance of a quote constitutes a legally binding agreement.
